    The Argentine World Cup-winning goalkeeper sustained the injury in the 29th minute of Villa's 3-0 Premier League loss to the Blues. The incident occurred when Martinez misplaced a pass near his penalty area, inadvertently setting up Chelsea striker Jackson for an opportunity. The shot-stopper scrambled to rectify the error and thwart Jackson but injured his hand in the process.
